AWANA is well underway 🍂
We are a month and a half into our AWANA year, and things are going splendidly!
The children have adjusted to the AWANA schedule and are doing well with Scripture Memorization, Choir Practice, and they are asking great questions in large group!
During our Large Group, we spent most of September learning some foundational elements of faith and answering the questions, What is the Gospel?, What exactly is the Bible?, and Why do we Pray? On September 27, we kicked off our new series: The Attributes of God. Each week we are leaning different attributes (or characteristics) go God! These attributes teach us about God and who He is! So far we have learned that God is creator, Immutable (unchanging), and that He IS love. We are continuing with our series by learning that God is Just.

Resources
If your child is in need of a Bible, we have some we are able to give out, but if you are looking for gift ideas as the holidays draw closer, I’d suggest the Explorer Bible. It comes in different covers and materials, but it is my go-to for children. It’s got colorful images, helpful contextual information, and so much more!
